| Everett’s
Carriage House School is an after-school performing arts program that
provides free classes for Providence’s youth. Our mission is to
help these youth develop their creative voices while also developing leadership
and job skills. Please note that all applicants must be well-organized,
motivated, committed and enjoy working with high school age youth. |

| TUTORS We are seeking dedicated and committed volunteers to provide homework support and Reading and Math tutoring to Middle and High School students, between 3pm and 6pm Mondays through Thursdays. If you are interested in helping these public school students fulfill their academic potential, and can commit to at least one day a week, please contact us. |

| YOUTH
AND FAMILY LIAISON We are seeking a Youth and Family Liaison who will be at the school during program hours (3-6:30 PM M-F). This person will be responsible for welcoming and registering new students, tracking attendance on a database, interacting with family members and contacting them about recitals and other special events. Must be well-organized, committed, have good people skills, and like working with youth. This position could be split between two individuals over the course of the week. |

| VIDEO
PROJECT COORDINATOR We are seeking individuals to work with high school youth one-on-one to help them develop and carry out video projects. These projects will be produced and directed by the youth—coordinators will help the youth develop their ideas into scripts, cast projects, secure locations, plan and carry out shoots, and edit projects. Start dates will begin in October of 2007.Video production and editing skills a plus but not required. |

| GRANT
WRITING/RESEARCH We are seeking skilled writers who are interested in assisting the organization in its grant writing and research. This will involve researching new sources of funding and writing grants that have been identified. It will also require working closely with staff members, getting to know the organization’s history and programs, and committing to at least a year of service (approximately 6-10 hours a week). Must be able to organize time well and meet deadlines. |

| GRAPHIC
DESIGN We are seeking individuals interested in designing marketing/publicity materials for performances, forums, special events, etc. Must work closely with a staff member and be knowledgeable in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, .html (specifically Dreamweaver), and Flash. |
||
| MARKETING/PUBLICITY We are seeking individuals to help the organization develop and carry out a business plan to increase earned income revenue streams. Products and services to be marketed include educational shows for schools, professional development for teachers and administrators, and video production services. Well-defined, achievable projects will be designed for volunteers to work on, and volunteers will work closely with staff in developing and carrying out plans. A good business sense and desire to work in marketing are required. Sales skills are a plus. |
